Hi writers.
Like many of you, I’ve been closely following news at the intersection of the AI industry and book publishing for a while now. The latest is an open letter published late last month on Lit Hub asking the Big Five publishers, and all others, to say no to books written by machines. You can read NPR’s reporting on the open letter here and read (and add your name) to the petition on Lit Hub.
Now, here’s what’s happening in the small press world this week.
